Bringing relief to lakhs of candidates, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will conduct exam for firing under Group D on September 17.
Bringing relief to lakhs of candidates, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will conduct exam for firing under Group D on September 17. “The exam city, date and shift details shall be made live 10 days prior to the start of CBT. Detailed schedule shall be released shortly,” mentioned the official notification on the website. 
The admit cards for RRB Group D exam is expected to be out by September 7. The RRB is conducting the Group C (ALP and Technician) first stage examination to fill over 66,502 posts. Once the Group D admit cards are released, the candidates have to log in using their registration number and download the call letters.
The selection process of RRB group ‘D‘ recruitment involves following step. 
Computer Based Test (CBT): This would be an online test of 90 minutes and will have 100 multiple choice questions.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): In this, a candidate’s physical capabilities will be tested by means of some tasks. These would be different for men and women.
Meanwhile, Indian Railways will soon provide airplanes like facilities in Indian trains. Officials of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), the e-ticketing arm of Indian Railways have reportedly being trained to do the same. In a bid to make the rail jouney comfortable and a memorable one, Railways will provide luxurious facilities to customers. Under Prime Minister Skill development programe, officials are being trained to provide world-level proffesional training. 
Under the training, the staff will be trained to welcome guests nicely and some behaviorial training will also be provided. According to a report, currently, 1500 personnel have been trained. 
Ailway is planning to train 30,000 staff eventually by March, next year. 
Earlier, it was reported that Indian Railways has slashed down AC coach ticet prices for five trains recently. To encourage people to take more AC trains, the South Western Railway (SWR) has cut down fares of five express trains from Bengaluru, Gadag and Mysuru in Karnataka, an official told news agency IANS. 
"By reducing AC chair car fare in Shatabdi Express between Mysuru and Chennai via Bengaluru, we got more number of passengers travel in the superfast train than bus or flight", an SWR spokesperson told IANS.
